Hole 7: Par 4
Another difficult par 4 like #3 is one of the most difficult par 4’s in the city of Savannah.
The hole bends slightly to the left. An excellent tee shot will give you approximately 170 yards to the green.
The green is well protected by a bunker in front. This bunker plays tricks visually from the fairway.
The actual yardage is longer than the perception.
There is 7 to 10 yards between the green side bunker and the green.
The size of the green is another key element in making this hole difficult.
Pro Tip
A good drive is required to have any chance for a birdie on this hole.
Place your drive in the right center of the fairway to get the best angle for your second shot.
Make sure that you hit enough club to carry the front bunker, or you will most likely get a bogey!
