Hole 3: Par 4
Considered to be the toughest Par 4 in Savannah and a par on your scorecard is well deserved.
The hole bends slightly to the left but two rather mature oak trees placed on the right side of the fairway near the green narrows the approach area.
The tee shot must be placed perfectly to the left side of the fairway to have a respectable opportunity to reach the green in regulation.
Pro Tip
Hit your best tee shot on this monster. Left center of the fairway is perfect. Stay away from the right rough as this will put you behind a very hungry majestic oak tree.
On your second shot, steer clear of the bunker on the left of the green. You should be aware of the fact that landing on the left rough of the elevated green may push your ball into the bunker.
