Army CYS Services School Support initiatives provides a variety of programmatic strategies and resources that help "level the playing field" for transitioning military students. These initiatives prepare schools and installations to respond confidently to the complexities of transitions, and provide Families the assurance that their children's academic well being is a priority.
School Liaison Officer
The School Liaison Officer (SLO) serves as a conduit of school information and is the primary point of contact for public and private school matters. Our School Liaison Officer at Hunter Army Airfield is here to assist you and your Family with all facets of school life as your child transition to the Carlisle Area. Youth Sponsorship
The Hunter Army Airfield CYSS Youth Sponsorship program plays a very important role in the Army youth’s moving process. The program provides the incoming youth with a youth sponsor at HAAF who will be a “friend” to the incoming youth, to make the incoming youth feel welcome, and to help the incoming youth become familiar with Hunter Army Airfield and its surrounding area.
